Patrick Brunner is leading the Product Strategy and Business Delivery at AcordIQ. Patrick Brunner is a finance, treasury and risk executive with over 30 years of experience in various leadership roles within the financial services industry. He is an accomplished and experience-driven leader with an extensive history of successfully working across multiple business lines and products, specializing in identifying and reducing complex operational, IT and corporate risks. He is culturally adept to operate and collaborate in both the US and European working environments.
Prior to AcordIQ, he worked at Deutsche Bank as a Managing Director. Patrick successfully championed the transformation of the global COO organization (Ops and Tech) to become metrics and analytics driven, achieving greater cost transparency and identified over $200m in cost savings opportunities, as well as continuously improving operating performance. He established the global Metrics Office for the COO division that leverages data science, predictive analytics, strategic performance measurement and self-service MIS reporting capabilities to help better manage and control the complex COO organization.
Patrick built his career at Credit Suisse, both in Zurich and New York, where he was most recently a Managing Director and served as the global Treasury Chief Operating Officer and Head of Treasury Corporate Risk Management. He actively guided Treasury’s strategic direction during the financial crisis.
His prior working experience include various executive roles in the Investment Bank Trading organization where he established the Fixed Income Prime Services Risk function. He also served as the Chief Operating Officer for Global Money Markets, Global Foreign Exchange and US Interest Rate products.
Patrick is a Swiss Certified Banker and graduated from the CS International Banking School as well as attended the Executive Finance Program at IMD Lausanne in Switzerland.
